I have been hearing  alot about Yamarita.....so i made a  research on the recipe and found out it is so cheap and easy to cook.....so i decided to share this wonderful delicacy with you...

INGREDIENTS
Tuber of Yam (depending on how many people you want to serve)
Groundnut oil
Egg
salt to taste

PROCEDURE
Remove the brown cover and Slice the yam into Medium rectangular shapes..Put pot on fire and add A jug of water(depending on quantity of yam) add a tablespoon of salt..(some people also add sugar).and leave till yam boils...drain the water from the yam when soft.
put egg in a bowl and whisk..add a pinch of salt..(and a little pepper,if necessary).dip boiled yam in the mixture one after the other and then fry till golden brown.....then yamarita is ready.

NOTE:you can serve yamarita with pepper sauce or stew.It can also be served with fish,beef or chicken
